Below is a 4 day / 3 night sample itinerary to give you a general idea of our Nuuk City Break starting from Reykjavik:

Day 1 - A Taste of Greenland

Take a 3.5-hour flight from Reykjavik to Nuuk where you will be transferred to your hotel.
In the afternoon, enjoy a walking tour of Greenland's capital following by a Greenlandic tapas where you can taste dried meat and fish, shrimp, scallops and other local food. Continue to a local home for Kaffemik where you can get an insight into Greenlandic culture, traditions and the lives of people.
Overnight at Hotel Hans Egede in Nuuk for 3 nights.

Day 2 - Kapisillit & Qoornoq

Take a trip to the fishing settlement of Kapisillit. Perched on a cliff, it offers fantastic views of the fjord dotted with icebergs. You can walk around the colourful houses or in the midst of nature with possibilities to see reindeers.
On the way back, stop at the abandoned settlement of Qoornoq which was believed to be inhabited before the Inuits.

Day 3 - Fjord Safari

Sail in the Nuuk fjord, one of longest fjords in Greenland, where you can enjoy the view of Nuuk and its colourful houses, the fjord landscape and hopefully see some wildlife.

Day 4 - Nuuk & Departure

A relaxed morning in Nuuk before you transfer to the airport for your return to Reykjavik.
